How long are consultations?

Our consultations are up to 60 minutes for initials and 30 minutes for follow up appointments. This allows our therapists to have a proper understanding of your injury and goals. We offer a one on one treatment experience and do not overlap our patients

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No, a referral is not required unless you are claiming through workers compensation, comprehensive third party (CTP) or medicare.  We are required to have a claim number to bill the insurance company for a workers compensation treatment.

What to bring to your first appointment

Please ensure you are wearing loose clothing for the body part that requires treatment. A singlet is ideal for neck/ shoulder injuries. Please bring any relevant scans or surgical reports for the injured area.

What can I expect from my first appointment?

You will have a thorough assessment to gather as much as we can about your past and current injury history. This may include questions that relate to your injury, along with a physical examination to test and diagnose your injury/ condition.

Generally you will receive treatment as well on the first consultation, which is why we allow up to an hour for the first consultation.

Do you accept private health fund?

Yes, You can claim your instant rebate with our HICAPS machine

Can a Physio refer for imaging?

Yes! If your injury requires a scan, we can provide you with a referral which can be used at one of the local imaging centres. Occasionally it may be more cost effective to get a referral from your treating GP – we will let you know when this is the case.
